The Museum of Northwest Art invites you to a new exhibit "ARTISTS, POETS, SCHOLARS: FISHTOWN AND THE SKAGIT RIVER" opening Friday, July 2, 2010 and running through October 3, 2010.
Opening reception Saturday, July 10th: Museum Opens at 3 pm, Reception 3-7 pm.
An exploration and multi-layered survey of the creative settlement that grew up on the Skagit River delta when artists, poets, and scholars occupied a series of abandoned fishermen’s shacks beginning in the late 1960s for nearly twenty years.
Museum of Northwest Art is located at 121 S. First St, La Conner. Open Sunday & Monday noon-5, Tuesday - Saturday 10-5.
